I've seen reference to the Boyertown bodies being put on Command Car chassis before, and it always seems just plain wrong to me....

Th wheelbase of the Command and Weapons was only 98", so you'd barely have room for a stretcher in there. It doesn't seem likely that they re-bodied WC 54s either (why bother....?) but since the WC 54 was in production at the end of the war I could imagine that there were a pile of WC 54 121" wheelbase chassis that could have been built up as new trucks.

All that aside it looks like a nice truck, but the original WC 54 is 'cuter' than either the KD or the later versions. The large number made means that they are just about the cheapest Dodge to buy in Europe at the minute, but post-war tinkering means a lot of them are short of the stuff in the back and the rear step.
