I think a person could get just about the same results that their video demonstrates by using wax or silicone oil. The catch is that the coating doesn't last very long. The concrete chute seems like an especially poor example because even the metal in a concrete chute gets worn down by abrasion.
I suspect that even it it really is something new and good, it will have a small niche application, like wax, silicone, and teflon have. Meanwhile, without any information on what's in it ("proprietary nanotechnology" is just the modern way of saying "fairy dust") or even where to buy it and what it costs, I'll remain unimpressed.
