MSDS says base coat is a 91% solvents, 9% "proprietary polymer" and <1% "proprietary additive". Top coat is ~97% acetone, ~3% silica, <1% "proprietary additive". So, basically we're getting solvent that might be worth $20/gal at the most, plus 1% "proprietary additive" that appears to be priced at around $30,000 per gallon. That better be some pretty special stuff made out of organic free-range dilithium unobtaniumite or something. I'm guessing it's a wax, silicone, or fluoropolymer like in scotchguard. Whatever it is, at a 100:1 dilution ratio, it's going to make a very thin coating that can't last long no matter what it is.
