If the cross piece has holes in it's vertical face used to mount the winch, here's how to tell which winch was mounted in those holes. Put a measuring tape at the driver's side end and extend it across the cross piece. The distance in inches from the driver's side end for the winch mounting holes are:
LU-2: 5-3/8, 6-7/8, 30-3/4, 22-1/4
MU2A/3: 6, 9, 25-1/2, 27-1/2
If these measurements don't work, let me know and we'll try something else.
