This basecoat-clearcoat kinda paint isn't the way to go...to much measurment...to get exactly right...measure once, apply, git er right...or curdle, and bubble. The apps for the basecoat have to be almost exact, otherwise, when you apply the clear, the result is devistating...been doin' this all week long, and just got the results right. Every app is different...watch your gun, and pressure...get the flow right...and when you're ready to apply, rethink the blend...get the ratios right, otherwise, you'l be sandin' and doin' it again. DBU-DCU needs exact kinda measurments... allow good dry time 'tween coats...At least 20 minutes. Pot time is cruscial...at 100 bux a quart, ya gotta get it the first time...and on top of all the attention, clean-up is 2-fold. Very messy. but good results are eye stoppin', if you're bringin' the ol' rust-bucket back to when your grandfather bought it, it'll stop even the kids these days... I mean the KIDS..."teach your children will" Sure is quiet here with the Iowa Ralley goin' on...all ya'll have a great time...JET
