I think this might be a common problem with windshields that have some rust problems and those shipped. If the windshield frame is not shipped in a wood frame for protection, chances are containers get placed on top and a few bounces in a truck will tend to flatten the frame. This may be the case for Nick and others where the ends don't seam to seat well. After thinking about it, his frame is flattened because it seats at the window tape connection before the ends. The frame should seat at the ends before seating at the tape. I'm sure the frame can be re-"V'd" using blocks of wood under each end and a narrow block of wood on top at the center channel and a bottle jack. This can be done under and using the truck's frame. I've got a good frame that I'm going to take over to Nick's before we do this to compare with.

We also noticed a big difference in the outter weatherstrip between the continuous and the spliced together type. The continous does not fit in the window channel tight, there is play, and because of this, it tends to pull out of the channel at the corners. I use the "T2", spliced together type, from Roberts and it fits well in the channel with no pulling out at the corners. Based on what we saw, I wouldn't recommend using the contiuous weather strip.
