Finally back on the forum after spending a week with my dad in PA, four days in Fairbanks and next week, three days in Juneau. Not a pleasant trip when my son and I visited him.. He's in a nursing home that leaves a lot to be desired and I'm working on that.
The reason I'm writing is the moose photo. Our snow is so deep that they are everywhere. I had a bunch of moose droppings right against my back door when I got back home. Today, I went to a drive up coffee shop and a big old cow moose came up to the shop and looked like she was ready to order. The number of moose being hit on the roads is double of any year.
Consider what a 1000 lb moose can do to a car vs a 150 lb deer.
