You are so right. We had a Cat. 4 tornado here in Maryland that skirted our county 7 or 8 years ago, and smaller ones this year locally too.
Tornadoes were virtually unheard of here until the last ten years.
Hurricanes we expect, but tornadoes?
The weather is definitely "changing" it seems... not just a cycle.
