I used PS off a Chevy 1T pickup, mounted outside and forward of the frame. I had to reposition everything because of a hemi head right where the steering column came through the firewall.
U-joints at box and under dash and a support bearing at the firewall. Picture of under dash is in July 2010 Power Wagon Advertiser. I have more pictures of setup if you are interested.
make sure you position it so the steering arm doesn't interfere with the tire when you turn right. Single finger steering IS nice!
