I did that style of conversion on a wc-52 and on a 1975 Ford hi-boy. It is nice because the boxes are easy to source. The only problem we had with the wc was the length of the steering required two pillow blocks which can be an issue if you have a lot of shifting between the cab and the frame. The Ford was a much easier conversion. A good lathe and a good welder are a must!
