you could start a list of here today, gone tomorrow stuff. ever go to ikea? they sell disposable furniture and are proud of it. they consider furniture a fashion statement and not an investment or heirloom. change your mind?- change your furniture! its all pressboard made from ground pallets and wood scraps. i have an old sears drill press from 1954. could buy parts up until recently. sears switched from emerson electric to the guys who make rigid tools. the emerson guys put truckloads of antique parts into the dumpster as part of their parting with craftsman... a guy could have supported a few employees running the obsolete tool business and kept the craftsman brand strong.
