If the loans don't go through that DOES NOT mean people will be out of work, plants close, etc. SLOW DOWN. The companies will file Chapter 11 and REORGANIZE. People will still work, manufacturing continues. The MGT. gets off their butt, and "reorganizes" to make a successful profit orientated business. The big 3 will not close down and the demand for cars will not stop. Look at the other seemingly countless corp's that have filed Chapter 11 and GOT OUT OF IT with NO taxpayer help.
