Converting Side Windows from 2Piece to 1Piece

Hey guys, rick here, i have finally gotten my 1952 FFPW Cab prepped up for paint, but before i get too carried away, i wanted to switch out my 2 piece side windows (main and vent) to a single piece glass. I've looked at the regulator mechanism, and it appears that only the glass channel on the bottom that holds the side glass needs to be elongated to brace the longer piece of glass.

I'm sure someone has done this before, I'm just trying to make sure that i dont need a different regulator to accomplish this.
