I can see you're mind is made up. If you want to keep trying to push prohibition, we'll keep having all the gangsters and crime that goes with it. When you talk about the problems that result from drug trafficking and pot growing, you're arguing AGAINST prohibition, not in favor of more of it. There haven't been a lot of people killed by bathtub gin or by stills blowing up since alcohol prohibition was repealed. If it wasn't for prohibition of all the other recreational drugs, our present crop of gangstas wouldn't be able to make a dime.

People have been voluntarily intoxicating themselves just for the fun of it for as long as there have been people. If you think more law enforcement can stop it, I doubt I can change your mind. All I'm saying is that if I was an employer, I would want the right to fire anybody at any time for any reason or no reason at all, but I wouldn't give a hoot what they did on their time off. I care what they do while they're on the clock. If what they do on their own time affects what they do on my time, then I care about it. If not, it's not my job to enforce your morals on them. In my experience, carelessness, laziness, stupidity, and anger are responsible for a lot more injuries and accidents than drugs would ever cause. Perhaps your experience is different.
