My daughter had a cat for awhile when they were first married. It was a black ugly stray cat. But I loved it. They moved into a inlaw cottage on a small farm of a couple of acres. The place was full of moles and the yard and fields had lots of mounds. A couple of months after they arrived the owner was as happy as could be as there was not one mole left.
The sad part was that was when she moved out she dumped the cat on us. Unfortunately the cat was not very healthy at that time and died a few months later leaving my yard still full of moles. We suspect the cat got into something on the farm.
No mice in the garage with our other 2 cats.
