Steering bearing problems continued...

I got the 11BA/BC bearings in but they are too large. They measure 1.67OD and 1.18ID. The steering column housing has an ID of 1.43 and the steering shaft has an OD of .883. Any other part number to try? Anyone have a decent used set? Switching from ball bearings to a bronze bushing a bad idea?
