Ok, looks like you have a stock unit. I measure the worm tube shaft on one of mine and it is the same size - .885. Now, the next set of questions. The tapered roller bearing is not built like a typical bearing, in other words, no cone is included.
- Are the rollers still in the cage?
- Is the roller cage broken?
The cone for the bearing is part of the worm gear, that’s why the bearing might appear to be bad when in fact it’s ok. Let us know.
I guess I know those bearing numbers are not good. More work for me.
