Notwithstanding the erroneous information listed in another post....= ), the changes are very few, the W100 and D100 only came with the short bed in those early years, 114" wheelbase. W200 and D200 have the same length frame, 122" wheel base. Springs on early 8 lug "Heavy half's" are also the same, Dodge only changed the spring ratings from the 6 cylinder at 1100 lbs, to the 8 cylinder 1350lbs. The W100 and W200 shared two axles, the #W1 package 3000 lb small knuckle and the #W2 package 3500 lb large knuckle. They also shared the rear axle a #W1 4500 lb and a #W2 5500 lb axle. Later models had both long and short wheelbase D100's but from 1961 until 1965.5 the only difference between the W100 and W200 was the wheelbase.
The Poly is the preferred motor, but the Slant 6 is a stout performer also.
