... so, I was out and about, and this non-running 1964 W200 followed me home. My wife experienced the predictable reaction, making loud mention of the many household repair and improvement tasks that remain undone, followed by a recitation of the alleged costs involved the *last* time a PW followed me home - and, belive me freinds, she don't know the half of that. But I cleverly took the kids out to see it, and they were very excited and played in/on it all afternoon, and lo, her heart softened, and her works became a soft grumble of resignation. Great move, I'll keep it in mind for next time. Now a day has past, and the truck is still here, so it's time to get busy...

I don't know much about these beasts, not like my 56 FF at all. Appears to be an ex-government truck, olive green paint, US Gvmt markings, US Dept of Interior tag inside the door frame. Slant six 225. Big Warn electric winch. Gas tanks full of glue, brakes and clutch in disarray, engine unknown compression, looks like a bit of work ahead.

Anyone know the difference between a W100 and a W200? Any thoughts on preferred engines? Keep the six, 318?
