carryall timing problem

Trying to start my carryall after sitting for 30 years in a field. Rebuilt everything, engine, distrib, new coil, wire harness, nos starter, rebuilt gen, ect. Has Zeinith 28 carb rebuilt and fuel pump. I got it to snort and pop a few times. My question is once the lower pully timing marks are TDC, the number one piston is up? What position should the rotor be in, #1 or #7? The distrib rotates clockwise so whats the firing order? Thanks in advance
