Not Dodge, but still tough, reliable technology. The link below is a demonstration video of the differential lock of an older Tatra T803 truck from the Czech republic.

As shown above, Tatra's original design uses a central back-bone tube, swinging half-axles and air-cooled engine. While each wheel copies the profile of the terrain, the rigid backbone tube actually eliminates any twist or bending of the chassis.

Several Tatra videos are on YouTube but they are not for the bandwidth-challenged amongst us.

Still not as exciting as a swivel-frame Power Wagon!!!
