The problem as I understand from several past discussion is that nobody makes a axle stock long enough for the long rear axle. If there was raw stock to do this someone could obviously make what ever is needed.
One way around this is to get a 3/4 ton WC centered axle and have custom axles made. Not cheap at all. As to the splines, cut splines are not as strong. I am not sure why but that is the way it is.
