the current theory of lowering the qualifications rather than improving the learning process. Pretty soon you'll see a law suit by a driver who wasn't hired. The suit will demand that the employer install automatic transmissions in their entire fleet, or perhaps the new device APB refers to. This is the same mentality that causes a school to stop publishing its Honor Roll because it makes the underacheivers feel bad. Add to that scoreless soccer games, T-ball games and any other endeavor in which a clear winner should emerge. Art is right, this device is one of the harbingers of mediocrity that will allow the rest of the world to surpass us in every activity.
But we'll feel good about it.
