having problems geting air out of my system filled up radiator yesterday started the motor it ideled for 5 min no responce on temp gauge figured out no water in block to get temp reading so today pulled the t stat and filled the block it only took 1/2 gallon.i started it up and got a responce on temp gauge right off rose to 190 and stayed for 10 minutes then all of the sudden the temp gauge jumped to 230
checked the radiator it was cool then i pulled the cap and it was bubbling over NOT boiling water was luke warm at best
i guess i still have a nasty air pocket some where it is a bb 400 chrysler fresh rebuild the motor might have 40 minutes run time on it
any sugestions
