I'd run it in to your local sandblasting company, and have them shoot it with soda or walnut shells or some other type of lightly abrasive material. At least ask them what they reccomend. Disclaimer: I know nothing about stripping aluminum. Dont you want the metal to be a little bit etched when you paint it anyways?
