Many thanks for the usefull suggestions.

Using a light, I checked out a number of things on the Power Wagon with Meyer snowplow that would not lift.

There is power to the solonoid from the small wire. There is power to the delivery side of the solonoid when activated with the switches inside the truck.

The light lights when connected between the hot contact on the motor and the ground on the motor when switched on inside the truck,. But the motor does not run.

Here is something wrong, the light lights when connected between the two big terminals on the solonoid without the switches being activated. This suggests a short in the motor or wire leading to it.

Sounds like a motor problem, but some people said they had had problems with the solonoid. So I replaced this, they are not expensive, and there is no difference.

I have now ordered a new motor, about $150. I am hoping this will solve the problem.

By the way, one person suggested testing the fluid filters. One was ok, a bit of stuf on it, the second was missing all together.
