Just when I thought I knew what I was doing too!
I've always considered myself as doing pretty well when I've taken control over (what I guess your calling a solid gear box) regular modern day trany... it's what I learned to drive on. (Don't worry, I'm not talking imports here.)
Anyways... Are you telling me that you don't need to use the clutch at all if your in tune with your m37? I guess I would be able to pull it off if I had to, but normally...Dang. My hat is off to you.
I, myself, haven't tried it, as the clutch method works fine for me. I imagine I baby the #@%! out of my unit, so I'm not worried about disc wear, it the bending / breaking bits thing that concerns me. I'm sure these things are somewhat built well, I just want to keep it that way.
