1993 is the last year Dodge used the Getrag G360. Is it Bad ? Its worse than worse on design. I was going to use one in my M-37hm but found it was so bad inside it was not even a core. I now have and am installing a NV-4500. As an example the gears have the bearing races machined into them. The races are not replacable. You must replace the entire gear if the race is bad.

Design of the G-360 caused an oil starvation of the front pocket bearing. The fix was to run one extra quart of lube in the tranny.

Parts are very expensive and many tranny shops wont touch them, they do upgrades to NV-4500's.

Go to the Turbo Diesel Register, 1st gen forum and do a search on Getrag, its an eye opener.

Paul ( just my .02 cents
