1967 W300 rim question

I used to read this forum regularly,but I've been away for a while. I know this question has come up before, but I forget the answer.

I have a 1967 w300 with split rims. It's virtually impossible to find any tire dealers around where I live who are willing to mess with the split rims. I seem to recall folks in this forum from time to time mentioning that M715 non-split rims will fit a '67 W300. Anyone know if that's correct? If so, anyone have suggestions for tires for the M715 rims (other than NDTs)? Thanks.
