Will - now that you have the 4 speed tranny separated from the engine, you can determine which first gear ratio it has. Put it in 1st gear and see how many turns of the input shaft are required to get one revolution of the output shaft. 4-1/2 = 4.56 1st gear; 6-2/3 = 6.67 1st gear. Let us know what the 435 D3 tranny code actually means. Thanks, Fred C.
