Yeah, but the family of the punk hasn't sued him yet. That cop may not go to jail, but the court system will rape him anyway.
It shoudl be illegal for the family of the dead criminal to bring legal action in civil court to the victim of the crime. MOst victims will be devastated enough with the act they had to partake in. Why should they go through the horror of watching the law side with some thug's ditrball family. Lets face it their only in it for the money.
