How much can a 727 take?

I found a Cummins 4B with a SAE#3 flywheel housing and a adapter with a 727 on the back of it. The 4b is rated at 80HP. I was thinking of putting it on the back of a slightly bombed 4BT, what's the reality of the 727 holding up with the torque and rattle of a Cummins?
