I am doing that right now. I'm using a married NP205 transfercase to my NV4500 trans. I am also using a centered rear diferential. There is a emergency disc brake kit that runs off the output yoke of the NP205 t-case that can be added to give you an emergency brake after removing the original one. I got my t-case free from a Chevy guy.
