NV 4500 and 318/360 in FF

I would like to do a V8 and overdrive transmission swap in my 63WM300. I think the NV 4500 would be ideal with its low 1st gear and OD 5th, as well as having a PTO window to run my MU2 winch. However the transmission is very long, leaving little room for the intermediate shaft to the transfer case. Does anyone have any ideas, on other combinations, outside of an NP435 and changing the diffs to 4.89's. If you prefer, email me off forum. Thanks.
