I do mine myself also but i have 20+ years of experience and would NEVER recommend that any
non trained (thats properly trained in truck tire work) without the proper safety equipment attempt to do the work

when inflating one needs to watch the lock ring to make sure it seats properly thats why
a cage is used so you can see the ring during inflation !!!
