when you get in a off road scenario, where twisting and flexing will occur. you may get the fan kissing the paint on the fins of the radiator. It will be minor, and will not be an issue in my opinion. I have a panel, with the same same combo, and thats what I got. But only in extreme off road conditions, and it was nothing worth moving the radiator.
However, you can always have your radiator shop move your core away from the engine by moving it back in the mounting brackets. you can usually get about an inch with out hitting the sheetmetal on the car. Also, it some peoples feeling that if the fan is too close to the radiotor, it actually makes a "wall" effect that reduces cooling ability.
Anyway, just some things to toss around.
I would leave it.
best
