Minimum Distance - Fan to Radiator

I have been working on a 1957 PW repower using a 318. I have moved my radiator forward to give the most space for my fan to spin (using original 4 blade fan). I have at least 3/4" between the radiator fins and the blade. The blade has very little flex or wobble on the water pump. I dont know how it reacts when the engine is running.

Anyone have an idea if 3/4" is enough room between the fan blade and radiator?? As I look at it, things don't have much room to move. But, I was looking for some reassurance (or disagreement) from our forum folks.

I dont want to solely rely on an electric fan either. I would consider adding one as a secondary cooling helper.
