Do you use black beauty in your cabinet? Must be a BIG cabinet to fit a windshield frame!
We use black beauty here in the shipyard but even the finest grit here is too rough for my liking.
We used Silica for years & years but they banned it 10 years ago when guys started coming down with silicosis of the lungs. I still find it leaves the nicest finish next to walnut or plastic & I still use it on the weekends when there is no bystanders as it's actually not bad for the guy blasting & wearing a fresh air respirator...only for the guys working near by with no respirator!
Maybe your black beauty is finer than ours here?
