You should try blasting here with our blaster! It has a 1 1/2" air supply line. I forget the number of the tip & it wouldn't mean anything anyway, but lets just say I could blast your whole truck from 30' away in less than 5 minutes! Ha Ha!
I have to almost turn the air off to run the big blaster & it's a nightmare trying to blast small parts because it'll blow them out of your hands, not to mention it will make very very short work of a pair of welding gloves!
I often think it's cheaper just pay people to blast for you even if you have the equipment.
The silica sand we get here is as fine as the finest glass beads. Crushed glass works well too, believe it or not.(not recommended out on the driveway!)
