Does anyone else out there have a '70's era power wagon with a 440 and without airconditioning? How is the engine compartment and cab temp? Current problem: the stock chryler seven blade fan is doing a great job of cooling the engine but pulls a tremendous amount of heat off the radiator which results in a very cool running engine but a blow torch effect on the entire engine compartment and high cabin temp.especially in stop and go traffic. I suspect that this was not an issue with airconditioned trucks in that it had to pull air through the radiator as well as condenser thereby having a lower temp air being blown on the engine (just an idea)What can be done to solve problem? or were all PW with big blocks standard equiped with air?
