Didn't have a problem with my Command Car cause it was 12 Volts from design. I bet the circuit breakers under the dash can't handle the 12volt load. Vintage might sell some for a Command car rated for 12 Volts. You could temporarily isolate the wires running to the lights with a fused line and see if the lights are the cause of the problem. Or first just undo the wires at the back of the lights, turn the light switch back on and check voltage for drain in the system, could be a short in that line against the frame somewhere. Happy hunting, I hate these ghosts too. WAW
