I need some help with the headlights on my 49 PW. The 6volt system was replaced with a 12volt some years ago and the headlights were connected last year after the engine was rebuilt. I noticed after using the headlights a burning smell and then the lights went out. I'm guessing the switch will need replacement along with the lamps to handle 12 volts. Has anyone had this happen or at least replaced these items before the burnout. I'd like to know what I'd need to get the lights working again. Any help would be great.
