Message:   OK, toyota has 1,500 dealerships and sells more than Chrysler with 4,000. Are those U.S. dealerships alone?

I believe toyota sells most of it's vehicles in metropolitan areas whereas I'd bet that Chrysler sells more cars in rural areas (middle America) than toyota.

It could be a mistake to simply look at the number of dealerships vs sales.

I like that idea of revamping the criteria for what a 5 star dealer is. Should be based on customer satisfaction ONLY.

Lastly, no pressure from manufacturers to sell unwanted models. Make what is anticipated. Dealers buy what they order from the manufacturer. No subsidies of any kind to dealers.
