You asked in a previous posting if the underperforming dealer was complained about to Chrysler.
I did email Chrysler about this dealer(yes a 5 star dealer) and was basically blown off, however to be fair this was when the krauts were still running the show, however I have gotten a fair amount of satisfaction by telling my friends not to go there, I know I have cost them at least one new truck sale since my problem with them.
The local dealer here in Michigan City has been bought out yet again by a mega-dealership, however I will give them the benefit of an open mind as far as service on my Caliber goes
(I found out that the dealership was sold to the new people because of a rash of customer complaints of which mine was one of very many)
my earlier posts on this thread were only to register concern about the dealer I bought my car from because they have been under pressure to build a big new dealership, not sure what is going on now, but the reasoning of this dealership is that the unemployment rate is 15% in the rural county they are in and they are not in a financial position to invest the $2 million needed for land aquisition and the construction of a new facility.
They carry Chrysler Jeep and Dodge and had Plymouth as well. The only brand they never had was DeSoto.
I am hoping to go see the guys before Christmas and will take some pictures, The place would blow everyone on this forum away, When you walk in, they greet you as if you were a long lost friend, offer you coffee/tea/pop, and it is like walking in a 1950's dealership with 2008 vehicles in it
If a 5 star rating were strictly based on customer satisfaction, and how they treat customers this place would have it hands down.
There are friends of mine who live in Grand Rapids which is an hour and a half drive from this dealer who have bought their last 3 vehicles from that dealer and would not consider purchasing a Dodge anywhere else
