With your 350 and Chevy 4 speed, you can bolt an Advance Adopters Rancho overdrive in between them and split your 4 gears for 8 speeds forward in high range and another 8 speeds forward in low range, for a total of 16 forward speeds. And you can use it in 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive! Because it is ahead of the transmission, excess torque on the overdrive is not an issue as it is with the Denman. The availibility of the Rancho OD is a major benefit of using a Chevy engine and transmission in a PW. Check it out!
