The water pump was the short shaft all along. I had the engine installed by a friend. He had said the fan would not fit. Over this winter i took it apart and tried for myself to install the fan. It took 6 fans before i found one that had the correct pitch.. just finished putting the record radiator in.. i will leave the 3800 cfm pusher fan on the outside for emergency’s. Wish i could post a picture.
