Thanks Keith! I was really thrown off by the non-synchro transmission that I have that has the 5-1/8" front bearing retainer OD. It has a casting date in 1955. Both the early non synchro and the NP420 I have use a 4-3/4" OD front bearing retainer. I will try to find a bell for a 56-up NP 420.
