Your MC may to too big now to give you a firm pedal with less braking. You need to determine the caliper piston size, area, number of them, pedal ratio, and work back to the MC size required. Are you using a single or dual MC? Do you have a proportioning valve at the link plumbed in the system? Try to identify what you have and and visit a local brake shop or go online for assistance. It all sure work ok with the right combination.
