I realized I was thinking backwards here (4.7:1 ratio will move the MC rod more per pedal stroke than 5.0:1). So if you are actually at 5.2:1 ratio, a 3/4" MC will probably work just fine. A 1-1/8" MC might overdrive the throw-out bearing. I'm curious to see how this works.
