No offense but there should not be anything complicated about this process. I am going to suggest you get some rigid cardboard and mock up a pattern for the entire piece you intend to install. When you are happy with the paper model, double measure/test and duplicate in metal. There should be no after thought or piece-mealing smaller pieces. Simple and clean.
Dad used to tell me, you are either welder or a grinder. :)
